Tamalpa Experience – An Embodied Life Art Practice, exploring how having one can support personal health and wellbeing.

Our bodies are sending us messages daily to guide us towards what is supportive for our own physical, emotional and mental wellbeing.  In our fast paced lifestyles and inundated with external stimuli, it is becoming increasingly harder to listen and follow the guidance our own bodies are actively trying to share with us.

In this two day workshop participants have the opportunity to slow down and reconnect with the pulse of their own heart beat and the rhythm of their own breath.  Entering through the door way of the physical sense of awareness participants will be guided to explore their own body’s wisdom though somatic and creative movement, mark making and expressive drawing, weaved together with insightful life art questions and poetic dialogues.

Empowering participants to tap into their innate body wisdom, this workshop would suit anyone interested in discovering how having an embodied life art practice can support physical, emotional and mental health and wellbeing.

The workshop will also include presentations on how the Tamalpa Life Art Process has been used to work with mental health charities, addiction recovery and healthy ageing.
