BREATH & EMBODIED CREATIVE MOVEMENT – A TAMALPA LIFE/ART PROCESS WORKSHOP WITH HELEN-JANE RIDGEWAY

This is a one day online workshop that will bring the opportunity for participants to re-connect with the healing potential within each of us through the Tamalpa Life Art Process and the practice of conscious embodied movement and breath……realising the body’s wisdom!

In these unprecedented & challenging times of pandemic, it is essential that we stay connected to the wisdom of the body through movement & breath, as well as nurture our creativity as a resource & response to this world wide humanitarian crisis.

This one day online workshop will focus on embodied movement and breath work whilst integrating body focused approaches and mindfulness and will include didactic and experiential learning. Some aspects you will be invited to explore are –

  • Introduction to Tamalpa Movement & expressive arts therapy
  • The inherent healing held within the body
  • Authentic Movement
  • Releasing unhelpful movement patterns long held in the body
  • Connecting deeply to the body’s natural intelligence
  • Exploring the creative process
  • How to use the body and movement as a resource
  • Mindfulness & Mindful movement

Please wear clothes that you are comfortable to move in, bring along a journal, some drawing paper & crayons!
