There is an essential connection between creativity and life that can facilitate greater wellbeing and self-development. In the Tamalpa Life Art Process we are interested in a new aesthetic that reflects the here and now reality of peoples’ authentic life experiences, rather than a beauty based on form or technique. For us it is our real life experiences that feed our art, and our art that informs the real issues and challenges in our lives.
In this Tamalpa Workshop with Lian Wilson and Canadian performance artist Misha Horacek, participants will utilise mindful movement/body awareness, creative drawing and writing to identify what is holding them back from feeling liberated in their own female potential. Participants will tap into art’s symbolic language to explore a current life theme and generate new resources for greater empowerment and celebration in their lives.
No previous dance or art experience necessary, just an openness and curiosity of wanting to unleash your full female potential.
