State Theta Galleries is hosting a Planetary Dance in celebration of Anna Halprin’s 95th birthday. This is a free event and part of the world wide celebrations for Anna that the Tamalpa Institute in California have orchestrated and invited others to be a part of.
The Planetary Dance is a participatory dance. At its heart is the Earth Run, a simple dance that everybody can do. Participants are invited to run, walk, or simply stand in a series of concentric circles, creating a moving mandala.
Please join us to celebrate Anna, this will be a special event to celebrate the influential, inspiring and amazing woman that she is, now in her 95th year, still teaching, dancing, performing and working.
